Bell ringers

Our Band, 'Ash-by-Wrotham Change Ringers', consists of people with a wide range of abilities and experiences. We are always looking for new ringers from beginners to experienced ringers.

Our main practice session is held on Saturday mornings between 9am and 11am. But we also have a second session on Tuesday mornings, normally starting at 10:45 until 12:00 when we retire to a local hostelry from lunch.
These are both very informal drop-in style sessions and anybody is welcome to come along and have a go.
As we have a ground floor ring so it's very easy to find your way to our ringing chamber,.There's no excuse that you could not find us! Come along and have a go!

We always need new ringers to keep this very old tradition alive!
We maintain links with other local bands. This means you could move from our 6 bells to 8 bells or even 12 bells, ringing heavier bells and attempting more complex methods as you progress.
